BIOGRAPHY
Twiz Boy, born Steve Katongo, is an Afro-pop musician from Malawi, based in Mchinji District. His journey started from his tender age but his fans knew him in 2016 when he was in Form One.
When he released “Nyasaland Queen” one of his popular songs, he became the best artist in Mchinji. A song resounded deeply across Mchinji and surrounding districts in central Malawi, particularly among young people who started using Nyasaland Queen as an expression of love.
Among his notable tracks, apart from “Nyasaland Queen,” are “Ona,” “Misozi,” “Pa Iwe,” and several others.
Throughout his musical journey, Twiz Boy remains dedicated to not only entertaining but also inspiring and uplifting his listeners, using his music as a platform to convey messages of positivity, unity, and cultural pride. He has also embarked on a project called, “School Support for Development” using a little he gets to pay for school fees for needy students around Mchinji Boma
